Minimalist Modern Stone Bathroom Remodel in West Lake Hills TX

Here are some pictures I took today of our most recent bathroom remodeling project in West Lake Hills  / Austin Tx. It is a minimalist modern bathroom using mainly limestone and sandstone. The bathroom remodel is still not complete, but I am eager to share these pictures. I wanted to have a minimalist modern theme in this bathroom using some exotic stones that you don’t see very often. For a majority of the walls I chose a metro grey limestone. There are two sandstone walls on either side of the vanity. Instead of using full stone slabs on the wall, I wanted to see the beauty of some very contemporary stacked rectangular and square grout lines. You can look at the next bathroom remodeling blog post to see some before and after progress pictures of this bathroom remodeling project.

The second picture shows a view of the custom walk in limestone shower beyond the sand stone mosaic wall. To the very right.  The floor of this limestone shower is covered in 1″x1″ limestone hexagon mosaics.

The third picture is a closeup of the walk in shower. This bathroom remodeling project in West Lake Hills Tx boasts a 36 square foot shower pan with Hans Grohe valves to the left just inside the shower threshold. There are 2 rain head shower heads and one of the mixers will divert water to a hand held sprayer. Take note of the free floating bench on the back wall.
